Van De Peut is a private company started in 2005. After working with pigs, pig feed and pig research for over twenty years, Martin and Harma decided to use this experience in establishing a specific pathogen free pig breedery.

Martin and Harma had clear requirements for a good establishing location. For example, the location should have a minimal distance of 4 kilometres to the closest pig breedery. Also, it shouldn’t be a passing route for third party pig transportation.

We found our location nearby the village of Marknesse, in the Province of Flevoland in the Netherlands. Van De Peut still is pro-active in ensuring quality. We keep on looking for innovations to increase quality of the product as well as the environment and people involved.

We deliver our products to buyers that value guaranteed disease-free animals. These buyers are situated in the Netherlands as well as in other European countries. Because we transport and deliver the pigs ourselves, we are in direct contact with our clients. This way, we are able to keep a keen eye on the market and sector.
